Shabby Chic

Both trendy and timeless, Shabby Chic doesn’t really focus on a particular century.  Instead you often find a mix of vintage pieces from various periods that help create an easy elegance.  It can be more feminine with florals and soft, delicate fabrics, but this isn’t a total requirement of the style.  What you will almost always find is plenty of white, a romantic vibe and an overall lived-in, comfortable feel.  Another characteristic of Shabby Chic interior design is the eclectic mix of new and old furniture and décor.
