About Us

Design is my passion and expertise.  For over twenty years, I worked in the corporate world designing and developing a wide range of products and store experiences that excited and delighted customers.  Companies I worked for and with include Target, Kohl's, JC Penney, Saks Fifth Avenue, Walmart and Carter's.  In my spare time, I designed home spaces for myself and friends.  Both types of design share so many similarities like the importance of knowing your customer, design planning, color & space usage and putting the right design elements together to create the best experience and end result possible.  While the corporate world allowed me to travel the world and gain a wealth of design experience, it was definitely extremely challenging at times.  As a full-time working mother and wife, it has become clear that we all need two things (well, let's be real - we need more, but these two things seem to be universal) - more help and more time!  With this realization, the idea of HomeSmyle was born.

HomeSmyle is a female owned online interior design firm focused on helping you turn your house into a unique home that fits your style and always makes you smile.  Our goal is to create custom interior designs that are tailored to your unique needs and desired aesthetic.  To achieve this, I created a design process that is super easy and takes up as little of your time as possible all while costing much less than traditional design firms.  Unlike traditional interior design services, we save you time and stress (yes, you heard us right!) from start to finish.  Everything is done online so you can be in your jammies and start the process at any time.  Once you provide the upfront information, we will take over and do the rest giving you more time to do whatever you need to do (and yes - that includes extra naps and binge watching your favorite shows).
